Trains and Girls.

Today has been a good day.  It has been so cold and cloudy, snowing and ice that I just felt like slitting my wrists.  I mean it, one more day and that would have been it.  Today and yesterday have been mild with a clear blue sky and not one chemtrail or vapor trail. It was mild enough that I cracked the windows to clear some of the stale air from using gas, heating and stale air.  As I was looking out the window today, I saw one girl then two run across the tracks into the small woods.  They just stood there at the tree line, and I was wondering what they were doing.  The door was open too so I had a good view.  Barney was in the house with us, laying on the rug in the middle of the floor after getting to come in the HOUSE and play with his TOYS.  He loves his squeaky toys. He only wants to play with them if they are still squeaking after he has chewed them of course. I saw his ears peak straight up.  I asked him, what is it? He looked at me then back out the door.  What ever it was, was coming from across the street.  I live at a three way intersection. Across the street that mine intersect with are rail road tracks.  Was that a train Barney heard coming?  I sat there for a moment and I felt a slight tremble through the floor.  Yes, yes it was a train.  Now, what are those girls going to do?  Were they crossing the tracts in route to the store?  If so, why were they just standing there?  I wondered if they were going to try and jump on a car? What ever could they be up to?  Humm… then the train sound became clearer and louder.  I could see that it was fixing to be even with the girls.  They all picked up dead sticks from the edge of the tree line getting ready to throw.  When the train was rolling past I could see the girls throwing the sticks at the tracks.  Not car high, but at the wheels to break the sticks.  I looked awhile then turning away, shaking my head.  I thought to myself, what does a couple two or three kids from the hood do for their amusement?  At least they weren’t at the store robbing it or rolling customers in the parking lot or spraying gang graffiti on abandon houses.

About 1wanderingtruthseeker

I'm a fiftish woman that has opinions and passions about nearly everything under the sun. I love a good debate, not name calling. I believe in the Constitution , the Bill of Rights and God. I believe the government which governs the least is the best government of all. I believe in the rights of the people. I dispatched fire trucks, the Po-Po and ambulances for a long time so I have a wicked sense of dark humor and speak fluent sarcasm. I think out loud a lot times. I am offensive. But I'm offensive of everybody. Socially unacceptable, plain spoken and unashamed. If you don't want to be offend, please don't read and if you do, please consider that I'm not politically correct in any sense of the word.
