Today I would like to tell you about some of the things that I have been doing.  I  finished my six weeks of physical therapy yesterday.  I have been taking PT for my back and hip.  They told me not to bend over.  Do you know how hard it is to not bend but to squat instead?  At least now I don’t topple over when I squat.  They worked on my leg and arm muscles so now I can squat without fear.  Yesterday, I was sweeping and mopping when I couldn’t find the dust pan.  I asked Rick where it was and he came into the kitchen with the snow shovel.  He took the broom from me and swept the trash into the snow shovel and dumped it into the garbage.  I said, “Well, that’s quite the dust pan.”  He said, “And you don’t have to bend.”  I would never have thought of something like that.

The other night we let Barney in and kept his lease on the door knob.  Mo-Mo the kitty-o doesn’t like Barney a bit but Barney just loves her.  In a little bit Barney had settled down and was lying on the floor in front of the heater(pretend-a-fireplace).  Everything was going just fine.  Mo-Mo was sitting on the back of the couch behind me.  I heard her going Yuk, Yuk,Yuk … clear sign that she was going to throw up.  And on a library book no less.  I grabbed her and threw her on the footstool.  She was fixing to throw up on the footstool and Rick pitched her into the kitchen.  Now Barney thought we were playing Chunk the Kitty games.  He was trying his best to go and get Mo-Mo so we could pitch her again.  Kinda like with his squeaky toys.  I told Barney that we weren’t playing chunk the kitty any more.

Yesterday, I was invited to my Granddaughter’s fifth-teen birthday party.  Her Birthday is December 22.  I told her mother that I would be sure to come.  That is if the world is still here!

About 1wanderingtruthseeker

I'm a fiftish woman that has opinions and passions about nearly everything under the sun. I love a good debate, not name calling. I believe in the Constitution , the Bill of Rights and God. I believe the government which governs the least is the best government of all. I believe in the rights of the people. I dispatched fire trucks, the Po-Po and ambulances for a long time so I have a wicked sense of dark humor and speak fluent sarcasm. I think out loud a lot times. I am offensive. But I'm offensive of everybody. Socially unacceptable, plain spoken and unashamed. If you don't want to be offend, please don't read and if you do, please consider that I'm not politically correct in any sense of the word.
