Do You Feel It?

Today I would like to write about the way a bunch of us are holding our breaths.  I feel

like I am waiting on something to happen.  It started back in 1997.  I felt like something

big was coming.  I didn’t know what it was but I knew it would be of the magnitude of God

thumping us on your heads.  I have been really studying the news and other things going

on in the world today.  If you really think about these things, you can see it coming.  The

United States (the citizens) are in big trouble. All of the trappings are in place, waiting on

martial law.  We are losing our rights, wars (or humanitarians aid. ha!) going on all over

the world, economy circling the drain, droughts that will lead to food shortages and the

ever-increasing possibility that we are heading for a socialist government.  I am afraid.  I

think it is time to really prepare for things that are going to happen.  Most of the U.S. is to

busy being entertained to  look at the things going on in our world.  Every morning I scan

the news. All the alphabet news organizations and then turn to alternative news sources.  I

have learned that they all spin the news to fit their slant.  I figure that the truth is

somewhere in the middle.  Alternative news tells me about things that the MSM does not.

Be honest.  Don’t you feel it too?  It’s coming and I don’t know what else I can do besides

prepping for hard times.

About 1wanderingtruthseeker

I'm a fiftish woman that has opinions and passions about nearly everything under the sun. I love a good debate, not name calling. I believe in the Constitution , the Bill of Rights and God. I believe the government which governs the least is the best government of all. I believe in the rights of the people. I dispatched fire trucks, the Po-Po and ambulances for a long time so I have a wicked sense of dark humor and speak fluent sarcasm. I think out loud a lot times. I am offensive. But I'm offensive of everybody. Socially unacceptable, plain spoken and unashamed. If you don't want to be offend, please don't read and if you do, please consider that I'm not politically correct in any sense of the word.

In many different circles there has been talking of a coming change. From the 2012 spiritualists looking to the skies for UFOs and angels, to various religions waiting for the second coming of Jesus. I’m not sure of any of those things since I’m not omnipotent (and certainly don’t want to be – how boring would that be??), but what I do know is the feeling within my chest which tells me that no matter what sort of scandal erupts in the US, I’m going to weather it the way I have everything else in my life. For the most part I’ve stopped watching the news (though see glimpses of things during the morning newscast) because I found that watching those things added too much stress to my already hectic life. I believe that much of what we see is deemed ‘acceptable’ by some big brotherish-types anyway. I’m very accustomed to my cushy lifestyle and would hate to lose that, but honestly believe that whatever is about to happen is what was determined to happen. So yes – I feel changes coming and am not sure that I like them all, but I’ve chosen to live for just this day and let tomorrow take care of itself. Yeah – it’s Pollyannish (is that the correct term?) but lil’ ol’ me cannot do anything to stop that runaway train. 😦

I don’t think any one of us can stop it. But there are a lot of us that feel it out there. I just take steps that will ‘maybe’ help me and mine. Take care out there.

Believe me – I understand “protecting me and mine” but is that what we should be doing? If we’re all focused on protecting our own little slice of life, who is protecting life overall? Not that I’m saying you or anyone else is wrong for focusing on that protection at all so please don’t get me wrong here. It’s a terrible consequence of our ‘me’ society. 😦

What I’m doing is having extra food, water, medical supplies, etc. I really do feel that a food shortage is coming, what with the droughts and all. Half of the counties in the united states are in states of disaster from the drought. Corn or corn by products are in so many things. GMO foods have been shown to cause big tumors in rats. Want to wait and see if they turn up in humans? A friend of mine has a five acre farm. We can do nothing for the rest of the people that refuse to look at the things going on. It will be the time of the ant and the grasshopper. Be the ant and prepare for winter.
